This short lived fundraiser only lasts until March 21st--WDSD. Every year, on March 21 (to honor the 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome presented in Down syndrome), the world comes together to raise awareness and advocate for people living with Down syndrome. Because Reece's Rainbow has an international focus, we are doing our part to further the recognition of this very special day! Although this beautiful girl is not our Yana...she needs a home and family soon. We are not adopting her, but have chosen to be her fundraising/prayer warriors. Anastasia is so close to being placed in a institution. The doctors have pretty much written her off...let's band together and help raise money to help make it easier for her chosen family. ReplyDeleteI know... we set it up to go to our fsp, but Andrea cannot set it up until she gets the go ahead from the agency doing Yana's adoption. She is looking into another agency. Stupid, evil roadblocks!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that someone is sponsoring this little girl. I check on her regularly and would love to bring her home if it wasn't for the costs. Just wanted to say thank you for bringing her closer to a home!

Heather...go to www.reecesrainbow.org. You can either get the address from there and send a check directly or you can click on the paypal line and specify Anastasia M. R 13. Thanks for thinking of her!!!
