I try to donate to a Reese's Rainbow child whenever I can. Today I was reading through, and I want you to know that I've made a mental committment to Yana. I don't know what that committment will be, but whenever I can I will donate to her.
Your story touched me as I live close to you (kinda near Cambridge; Zanesville is where generally go to Kohls and Sam's Club, and I have fond memories of going to Zanesville on various errands with my grandparents as a young child and going to Blue Drummer Chicken) and I know that you probably face additional challenges as this part of the world isn't always the most accepting of disabilities, which I am both fortunate and unfortunate enough to know firsthand.
So it may be tiny amounts, but I will try to give to you as I can because that little one deserves to grow up in the quiet world of central Ohio (or are you considered southeast?).
I always wanted to adopt a child with a disability ever since I was a camp counselor and knew a family whow had something like 12 adopted children with varies disabilities from all over the world, along with 6 or 8 old biological children. It was the neatest family I've ever encountered. Unfortunately I will never meet adoption requirements, so instead I support others.
I'd love to! I work as a traveling therapist and funnily enough (as it is totally not the direction I want to travel) it's looking a lot like I'll be spending this summer in Zanesville! It's not certain yet, but it's looking very likely.

Thank you so much! Keep in touch and when she comes home we will have a party. You can come meet her :)
